I come here every Wednesday to do homework with my kids. We sit at a table in the back of the library and it is usually not crowded. The library is clean and nice however the red headed librarian is consistently rude to us and has repeatedly yelled at us while we were doing nothing but homework. Of course helping my kids requires that we talk some but we were not being overly noisy or disrespectful. She seems to have a personal vendetta with me and my kids or severe anger issues. I can't see how it's acceptable to yell at children who are just doing homework. It's appalling to me that the city employs a librarian who has such contempt for the people using the library for its exact intended purpose. My kids dread doing homework far more knowing she might yell at them while they are studying. I like the library but can't recommend going there until they replace this angry, contemptuous, child hating librarian... The other staff and librarians have been very kind and helpful. My issue is with the one librarian specifically.

I like being able to bring my laptop and use the library's internet but I have had some problems with one of the librarians. I have witnessed her yelling at people and today a man needed help printing out a form and she kept saying "sir you need to follow the instructions on there." I was so appalled that she couldn't help him with that and other people offered him help. She then began to argue with him loudly saying "sir sir I had already asked you..." This red headed lady needs to socialize more because she has problems talking with people.
Great little library with a big kids section, love taking the little ones here to pickup new books to read.
